(Jr./Mid-level) Systems Integration Engineer (m/f/d)
Your mission
As an (Jr./Mid-level) Systems Integration Engineer (m/f/d) at UNIO, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end integration of systems into our “UNIO Bridge” product, encompassing various components such as antennas, in-vehicle setups, hardware and software. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our products work seamlessly to meet the needs of our customers. Your challenge and key responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete integration process of the system, which includes various components. Ensure that all elements work seamlessly together to provide a unified and reliable solution.
- Develop innovative solutions as needed for vehicle setup, customer demonstrations, and integration based on customer feedback. Adapt and modify system components to cater to specific customer requirements.
- Implement rigorous testing procedures to guarantee the quality and reliability of the integrated systems. Identify and rectify any issues that may arise during the integration process.
- Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and changes made to the systems. Ensure that all integration procedures are well-documented and easily accessible to team members.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure that the integration process aligns with product specifications and customer needs.
- Provide technical support to customers during the integration process, address their concerns, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in system integration, particularly with complex hardware and software systems.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies – WAN/LAN/IP/Wireless/Satellite - with proficiency in integrating various hardware and software elements into a functioning connected system.
- Understanding of satellite antenna systems and their configuration.
- Experience working with embedded systems and related environments. Knowledge of NXP S32G2-based systems and implementation in vehicle environments a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customers.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
- Related experience in the mobility sector is a plus.
