We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support our operations in Peru. Reporting to the Lead Compliance Manager, you will help ensure compliance with local gaming regulations, AML requirements, and internal policies while working closely with both local and global stakeholders. The Wow

Working closely with the Regulatory Compliance Team Lead – Peru, the successful candidate will support regulatory compliance activities, licensing obligations, regulatory reporting and day-to-day compliance operations. 

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

• Support the ongoing compliance of Betsson's gaming license requirements in Peru.
• Monitor regulatory updates and industry developments from El Peruano, MINCETUR/DGJCMT, SBS, UIF-Perú, SUNAT, and GAFILAT, identifying relevant changes and potential business impacts.
• Assist with regulatory communications and interactions with competent authorities.
• Translate regulatory updates into practical guidance for internal teams.
• Maintain compliance records, documentation, and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of regulatory reports, filings, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure regulatory requirements are appropriately implemented.
• Assist in developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and processes.
• Support compliance training and awareness initiatives across the business.
• Help drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Compliance function.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, legal, audit or a related governance function would be advantageous.
• Experience within the online gaming industry would be considered a plus.
• Basic understanding of Peruvian regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English.
