Junior Data Analyst - Qcommerce (They/She/He)

YOUR MISSION
In the context of “giving users easy access to anything in their city”, Q-commerce (Quick Commerce) is the business unit that aims to provide immediacy to all product needs that a user might have, from delivering a video game to sending a gift... to filling up their fridge.
We are looking for a Data Analyst. You will join the local Spanish Q-Commerce operations team responsible to ensure Q-commerce stores operate with the global standards and best practices.
The role will be key for the success of partners operations. It requires you to develop a strong understanding of Q-commerce operations and automatization needs, understand issues at different touchpoints for both Partners and internal stakeholders and the derived reporting. It also requires collaboration with various teams distributed within Glovo and offers a steep learning curve.
THE JOURNEY
- Understand main business and operational OKRs of Q-Commerce
- Provide fast and proactive data-driven insights about KPIs that can be acted upon
- Propose changes to the way we track, maintain and use data
- Act as an internal consultant to translate business questions into insights
- Identify opportunities to improve dashboards, tools and data handling processes to improve productivity
- Liaise with the product and central BI team - you will play a central, pivotal role in building relationships with the central team, influencing the central and other countries with your expertise, and bringing to the local team best practices from external parties.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 1-2 years of work experience with data analysis/business intelligence, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment or consulting
- High proficiency with SQL to write readable, reusable and optimal queries. Intermediate Python/R knowledge is desirable
- Demonstrated project management skills, go-getter attitude and a high level of ownership
- Ability to effectively use diverse data sources (transactional/logs etc.)
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work well with various stakeholders.
- Past experience on concepts of statistical analysis is desirable
- Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory
