As the Lead Technical Trainer, you'll be a key part of our growing team, educating employees from companies worldwide on LogicMonitor products and services. You'll create and deliver technical product training for both internal and external audiences. Using your knowledge in training best practices, you'll design world-class on-demand and instructor-led training experiences. Additionally, you'll contribute your expertise to the LogicMonitor Certification program, including developing relevant training materials and certification exams.

While not a people manager (this role has no direct reports) the Lead Technical Trainer is responsible for providing coaching and mentorship to junior Technical Trainers and Training Engineers; in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Deliver, and maintain ongoing training activities in all formats (classroom/virtual/on-demand), both remotely and on-site (as conditions warrant)
- Facilitate, manage, and continuously improve training for internal and external audiences
- Perform administrative tasks in the Learning Management System (LMS) as necessary
- Maintain training schedules
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), content developer, and lead in developing training material & maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials
- Evaluate training effectiveness with course surveys post-delivery to reassess material development, delivery, or flow to meet future training needs
- Work extensively in a cross-functional environment and ensure alignment with Customer Success managers, Instructional Designers, InfoDev writers, Product Managers and Professional Services.
- Maintain LogicMonitor technical knowledge by working closely with Product Management on future releases, product enhancements, and other changes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in technical support, field engineering, or systems administration
- 6+ years working as a technical instructor within Education Services for an Enterprise software company delivering training content in any format (classroom/virtual/on demand)
- 5+ years Linux/Windows/Network administration and operations
- 3+ years working with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, and GPC
- 3+ years experience with monitoring solutions and/or associated protocols (WMI, SNMP, JDBC, HTTP, etc.)
- Initially, some travel may be required. This position may require up to 50% travel once global return to work policies relax. (Note - all current training is remote)

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Base Salary Range$86,205—$118,545 USD
