Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Travel Programs and Expense Reporting in our Plantation, FL hub to maintain effective corporate travel policies, monitor travel activity and programs, and execute the overall strategy for Corporate Travel programs. Key focus on vendor management, program operation, policy compliance, card management, traveler experience, traveler safety/security and management reporting. The goal is to focus on reasonably assuring employee travel is safe, efficient, and organized according to company policy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide long range vision and lead change management to best fit travel program for the organization
  • Develop travel policies in collaboration with Finance, HR , Legal/Compliance and Internal Audit
  • Manage relationships with travel agencies and vendors
  • Work with procurement team to negotiate contracts and rates with travel service providers
  • Select, implement and manage the day-to-day operations of the corporate travel and purchasing card programs
  • Serve as the administrator for all Travel and Entertainment (T&E) related systems (SAP Concur, Egencia, etc.)
  • Create, manage and provide all necessary reporting around travel and expense to department leaders (Accounts Payable, Accounting, Procurement, Internal Audit, Finance, etc.)
  • Evaluate T&E reports for exceptions and trends
  • Ensure adoption and utilization of travel management programs throughout the business
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures including audit and exception management
  • Drive continuous improvement of travel programs
  • Audit rewards and mileage programs to ensure Chewy is receiving appropriate credit
  • Be the subject matter expert for online booking tool and integration of expense management
  • Work cross functionally to drive automation in processes and tools

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in travel management, business administration or related field
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Detail oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Ability to create strategic documents including white papers to communicate direction and choices for organization
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability
  • An analytical mind with strong business acumen
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Experience with expense reporting and travel portals are a plus
  • Travel expectation is less than 10%
