Manager, Employee Relations Center of Excellence
This role reports into our Boston HQ office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday).
We are looking for an experienced Talent leader to support our organization in providing strategic input, insight and advice with respect to complex employee relations, conflict management, performance management, and more. As an Employee Relations leader, you will serve a trusted expert on employment related matters, company policy and case management best practices. As a member of the Talent organization, you will play an integral role in establishing global process standards and company-wide reporting, in addition to supporting the ongoing development of Talent partners in an effort to drive consistency and mitigate risk.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with HR Leaders, Talent Business Partners and Legal teams to establish global case management, investigation and termination processes and standards that meet the unique needs of Global Supply Chain, Sales, Service and Corporate populations
- Proactively analyze case management data to identify org specific trends and company-wide hot spots, provide insights and make recommendations to develop scalable solutions, programs and policies, and aid in risk mitigation
- Provide developmental training and coaching on employee relations techniques, corrective action and documentation, and conflict resolution best practices to support continuous professional development
- Identify opportunities for process and tool innovation, standardization, simplification and automation to accelerate Talent partner team performance, mitigate risk and improve operational effectiveness
- Provide strategic input, insight and advice with respect to policy development, interpretation and application
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources/Talent Management strongly preferred (employee relations and interventions, conflict resolution, coaching etc.)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate at all levels of the organization and lead multiple stakeholder relationships
- Strong customer service focus with a sense of urgency and excellent follow through
- Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent judgment when making tough decisions in complex, nuanced, and highly confidential situations
- Strong data & analytic skills with proven ability to identify trends and determine solutions that meet business needs and mitigate risk
- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
- Ability to synthesize multiple points of view to develop a coherent, balanced action plan
- Ability to work across multiple functions and diverse leaders, developing trust and credibility with every interaction
