Our Strategy team is the strategic execution arm for the Fintech line of business. This includes defining strategic direction, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting critical initiatives.

As the Manager of Fintech Strategy, you will focus on Toast’s annual planning process, key strategic initiatives, and build and execute on operational processes as a business partner to the Go-To-Market, R&D, and Customer Success teams. You will be responsible for supporting and executing cross-functional strategic initiatives and project management across a variety of stakeholders. 

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Support development and execution of business strategy and operations for the FinTech line of business 
• Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to facilitate key strategic initiatives
• Take ownership of commercialization and operations to scale new products and offerings
• Manage multiple projects and ensure the team stays on track for defined goals and milestones
• Capture and track metrics to inform our progress, success, and KPIs as a business line, and report to the Senior Leadership Team
• Conduct analysis to uncover insights about our business and develop a point of view on the competitive landscape

 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of equivalent work experience, preferably in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, operations for high-growth technology, or venture capital
• Demonstrated experience with strategic/operational projects that have many facets and moving parts
• Leadership and general management skills, especially in gaining alignment with different stakeholders
• Strong time management, organizational, and relationship skills
• Superior verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Proven ability to develop relationships and problem solve with cross-functional partners
• Strategic thinker and tactical executor able to shift from big picture to detailed operations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to uncover insights to solve complex problems
• Team player with an excellent track record of success in fast-paced environments with changing priorities

• This role is a hybrid/remote role, with a preference for candidates who are able to commute to our Boston or San Francisco office

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$108,000—$173,000 USD
