rag & bone is looking for an individual who will be responsible for partnering with our 3PL provider to manage day to day warehouse operations out of our Commerce, CA.  The manager will spend most of their days on the floor perfecting all aspects of warehouse activities to ensure our product is received, put away, picked, packed, and shipped in line with our service level agreement terms.  This is an exciting time to join the logistics team at rag & bone as we kick off our new chapter of operating 100% of our US warehouse activity out of LA.  This role will report directly to the Director of Operations, with daily interactions with the Logistics, Sales, Digital, & Customer Service teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will spend most of their time on the floor partnering with rag & bone’s 3PL warehouse to ensure all activities for B2B & B2C are operating within our agreed service levels.
  • Managing all outbound order activity from our 3PL warehouse on a daily, weekly, monthly schedule for our domestic wholesale partners, retail stores, and Ecom.
  • Partner with inventory control to perform monthly book to book inventory alignment.
  • Troubleshoot any backorder, inventory issues, or shipping concerns.
  • Work closely with the 3PL team on reverse logistics so that we minimize backlogs in returns.
  • Organize and manage weekly, monthly KPI’s on all inbound and outbound activity.
  • Analyze and report on outbound shipping performance, capacity, and present actionable insights.
  • Expert experience building and maintaining internal SOP documentation focused on Wholesale outbound and return activity.
  • Develop and ensure customer related compliance is maintained and issues are resolved.
  • Manage all shipment-chargebacks and disputes with the 3PL warehouse.
  • Manage and resolve any routing and tracking requirements with all transportation carriers in working closely within our Wholesale CS team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Position will be based in Commerce, CA
  • Min. 3+ consecutive years of experience in operations management, fulfillment, supply chain management for US domestic Wholesale/Retailer accounts for apparel.
  • Can strategically work with cross functional teams to drive projects forward, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions backed by data driven reporting.
  • Experience working closely with a 3PL or dedicated warehouse.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Has analytical skills, especially with Excel, ERP systems and reporting tools to make actionable recommendations.
  • Must be excellent in Microsoft Excel, Goggle Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets and comfortable with ERP solutions such as Microsoft D365.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the company.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to success.
  • Aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, with a flexible and adaptable mindset.

The salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 based on experience.
