Market Research Lead

Are you ready to apply your research expertise to advocate for customers in a global digital agency environment? One of the pillars of Critical Mass is “speed to insight,” so in addition to running specific research projects, your role Critical Mass be to ensure the research department is well-organized, projects are completed efficiently, and finances are properly managed. You will bring the mindset of a contributor, project manager, organizer, cat wrangler, and someone responsible for driving efficiency.

You will:

  • Advocacy: Act as a persuasive ambassador and advocate for the operational needs of the research department.
  • Leadership: Act as career developer and develop your personal leadership style.
  • Research Design: Assist in drafting academically rigourous research methodologies and approaches.
  • CM Collaboration: Work with Strategy, Project Management and other departments to facilitate project efficiency and timeliness.
  • Team Contribution: Implement project management and financial analysis to ensure all projects are on time and on budget, deploy team scheduling on weekly and daily basis
  • Your Craft: In addition to putting your proven research skills to work, you will have the opportunity to implement and hone your operational and organizational skills.  
  • Tools: Source and implement process improvement options and new vendors to support the operation.
  • Administration: Liaise with Finance, Project Management, and HR to maintain positive administrative integration across the agency.

You have:

  • At least 7 years’ experience within the consumer behaviour research industry.
  • Strong Project Management experience.
  • Awareness of how to create research proposals.
  • Insatiable curiosity to always learn and use the best AI tools for research.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modelling and analysis.
  • Ability to see both the tactical and strategic implications of research findings.
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter in verbal, written, and presentation form.
  • Experience building relationships across multi-disciplinary teams, without supervision, under tight deadlines.
  • Experience conducting research in Global markets.
  • A team-oriented mindset.
