Checkout is one of the fastest growing business lines within Payoneer. Launched in 2022 and now available on all major shopping cart platforms in the region and around the world, Payoneer Checkout offers a highly competitive value proposition catering to a rapidly growing cross-border eCommerce market. It helps small to medium sized eCommerce merchants in APAC to sell their products to consumers around the world, using a shopping cart platform to host their storefronts and products. With the benefit of collecting and making payments in multiple currencies across all major card networks, Payoneer Checkout is uniquely positioned to address the rising needs of cross-border merchants.

Singapore or Vietnam (Ho Chin Minh City or Hanoi)

What you’ll be spending your time on:

  • Owning and operationalizing the regional marketing plan for Checkout, with specific outcome- oriented go-to-market plans for countries and teams in APAC
  • Develop and operationalize foundational product marketing assets, including value propositions, target personas, messaging, user journey insights, and product-related content. Develop and scale GTM assets and enablement toolkits.
  • Driving business metrics and meeting KPIs that cover retention and growth of the existing customer portfolio, acquisition of new customers and revenue.
  • Supporting in-market sales teams in orchestrating activities across the sales funnels (including Marketing, Lead Generation, Sales materials etc) to ensure a strong and sustained pipeline of opportunities, and quick and efficient conversion aimed at securing as much share of wallet as possible
  • Represent Payoneer to drive awareness & new user acquisition and engagement through campaigns, events, and other co-marketing initiatives 
  • Demonstrating a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit in identifying and pursuing new customer verticals and segments
  • Keeping a strong pulse on market competition, opportunities and challenges; sharing actionable insights and customer feedback with regional and global stakeholders, aimed at continually strengthening our value proposition and competitive position in the market
  • Effectively collaborating, creating visibility and influencing in a complex cross-functional global organization

Skills, Qualification and Experience

  • 8+ years of Integrated Marketing experience, with 4+ years in the payment’s industry /eCommerce payments and/or acquiring solutions to SMBs/SMEs
  • Experience in delivering integrated marketing campaigns across channels including website, email, social media and SEM.
  • Ability to track, measure and communicate program results, and seek to generate new best practices through experimental efforts.
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding communication and presentation skills, with comfort in creating and delivering presentations at the executive level. Vietnamese language proficiency will be an advantage.
  • Strong experience working with global virtual teams across functions and geographies and an ability to forge trusting and collaborate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Clarity of thought, sense of urgency and independence in delivering your goals with minimal guidance
  • High level of organization and focus and ability to work under pressure.

Not a must but a great advantage:

  • Experience with Payment Service Providers, Acquirers, Gateways, Card Networks 
  • Experience with marketing for small businesses engaged in cross border trade 
  • Experience with data analytics & BI tools
