Marketing Science Director, MarTech
As a Marketing Science Director your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you demonstrate the value of marketing science to stakeholders. You bring 10+ years of experience working with data to drive better customer experiences and business outcomes. You have in-depth experience working with data and platforms to develop customer-centric experiences leveraging content management systems, ad platforms, and personalization platforms.
You have experience identifying opportunities to expand engagements and grow revenue, influencing client decisions through logical and consistent guidance. You excel at managing client deliverables across multiple work streams.
You also thrive in a global operations context, working on multi-discipline projects to drive analytics best practices and thought leadership. Leveraging your leadership skills to supervise and develop a passionate team (including work priorities, timelines, deliverables, and training) is something you’re looking for, and you’ll expose them to Marketing Science sub-disciplines to develop their expertise.
You will:
- Drive platform advancement by thinking strategically about how data, technology, and content can be used to enhance user experiences and deliver stronger business outcomes.
- Partner with clients and cross-functional teams to expand adtech, martech, measurement, and personalization capabilities across websites and marketing channels.
- Guide the evolution of web analytics and data collection frameworks based on the long-term needs of client's business.
- Develop multi-phased roadmaps to advance client analytics maturity and prioritize feature enhancements to platform capabilities.
- Lead the ideation, development and execution of measurement strategies and frameworks in support of performance marketing campaigns and always-on tactics.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to shape analytics deliverables and oversee the development of ETL workflows and data pipelines to support reporting.
- Mentor a team of marketing science analysts and data engineers, and construct learning plans and skill development tracks to guide team development.
You have:
- 5+ years of experience managing marketing or data analytics operations for large brands, digital agencies, consultancies, adtech vendors, ad platforms, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of what it takes to deliver connected digital experiences to users, and are comfortable defining the data, technology, and operational requirements needed for enablement.
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, industry measurement practices, and the strengths and weaknesses of marketing channels and vendors.
- Extensive experience with web analytics and a/b testing tools such as Adobe Analytics, GA360, Google Analytics 4, or Adobe Target.
- Extensive experience with tag management and data collection using tools such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium.
- Strong awareness of the capabilities of media platforms such as and Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/IG), and TikTok for Business.
- Familiarity with leading AdTech and MarTech vendors such as LiveRamp, Flashtalking, Clinch, Lucid, or Nielsen.
- Familiarity with leading CRM, CDP, Email, and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Klaviyo, Segment, or Marketo.
- Familiarity with the foundational building blocks of web development and data collection such as Data Layers, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of current data privacy best practices and an understanding of the changing landscape and its impact on media targeting and attribution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to a variety of audiences, including executive leaders, creative, tech, media, project management, account, and client teams.
- Strong collaboration, project management, and team building skills.
