YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a data driven and results focused Marketing Specialist to join the Growth team in Nigeria. 

You will own the execution of all marketing initiatives, and your goal will be to develop and execute the most profitable initiatives to position and promote Glovo.

THE JOURNEY

Campaign execution:

  • Support Head of Growth in development of marketing campaign strategy and execution plans.
  • Lead execution of all campaigns (online and offline) and optimize content to deliver on agreed growth goals.
  • Craft compelling and localized messaging to support campaigns, by working with Brand & Design teams. 
  • Evaluate campaign performance by tracking defined KPIs and preparing reports.

Budget monitoring:

  • Understand local media buying landscape in order to support investment decision making within the agreed CAC (Cost of Acquisition) targets. 
  • Support Head of Growth in budget tracking and reporting.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish meaningful business relationships on behalf of the business (Top partners, Media agency, Media outlets, Social Media agency, etc).
  • Work cross functionally with HQ Growth teams and supervise activities across all marketing channels.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of Growth initiatives, by working closely with Local teams (Commercial, Content, Partner Operations, Operations, etc) and HQ teams (Pricing, CRM, Performance Marketing, Brand & Comms).
  • Track and monitor key Growth metrics, providing visibility to the Head of Growth.

Market research and analysis:

  • Work closely with Customer Research team on user research projects (surveys, focus groups, etc) to understand user base and gather feedback.
  • Lead analysis to understand how users interact with our products and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track market dynamics and gather industry intelligence.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3+ years of Marketing experience, preferably in Marketing agency or Marketing department of leading technology or FMCG company.
  • Proven track record of delivering business growth, experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, a good eye for design, and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a compelling and creative way.
  • Strong problem solving skills - you are proactive and autonomous.
  • Strong analytical skills - you can quickly deep-dive on any problem, understand root cause, draft improvement solutions and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • An obsession with continuous improvement and delivering value efficiently.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) / Microsoft office.
  • Good understanding of media channels, and comfortable tracking and reporting on established performance marketing KPIs.
