Roles

The primary responsibilities center on end-to-end software development for the complete lifecycle, from architecture and coding (C/C++ focus) to release and maintenance. The role requires building and enhancing critical system software for inventory, configuration, monitoring, failover, and enclosure management. A major duty involves system design and implementation of robust interfaces between software and hardware components, and a close collaboration with hardware teams on system power-on, bring-up, and firmware management to ensure system availability.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE..
  •  Independently architect and implement the Firmware architecture and System management software for Flash Array and Flash Blade platforms.

  •  Develop and review code, and rigorously review associated design documents, use-cases, and test plans to ensure technical coherence.

  •  Write and maintain automated unit test suites for every module, providing essential software quality reports based on metrics like static analysis, code coverage, and CPU load.

  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure code aligns with product security goals and drive the full product life cycle in partnership with the QA teams.

  •  Maintain responsibility as a product owner for the module, ensuring all tasks and progress are accurately reflected and kept up-to-date in theAgile task tracking systems.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :
  •   Must possess expert-level knowledge in system software and platform security specifically for x86/ARM-based Rack/Blade server systems.
  •  Requires strong awareness of industry standards and specifications, including Open Compute, OpenBMC, IPMI, DMTF, and Redfish, as well as general open-source principles.

  •  Proven experience is required in customizing Linux distributions tailored for embedded, desktop, server, or cloud applications.

  • Must have experience working with upstream open-source communities and a solid working knowledge of common tools and frameworks used in CI/CD environments.

  •  A mandatory educational requirement is a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
