YOUR MISSION

In Glovo, we want to change the way consumers buy groceries, and we believe that if we want to revolutionize the industry, we need to deliver a WOW experience to our clients. You will be managing and coordinating one of our micro fulfillment centers (MFCs) focusing on safety, quality, customer experience, productivity, and fun! 

THE JOURNEY

  • Oversee daily operations of an Almaty MFC, ensuring adequate and well-trained staffing and addressing team needs.
  • Manage and motivate pickers and leads through coaching, feedback, and performance reporting.
  • Review forecasts to meet daily productivity targets. Coordinate physical and virtual workflows for timely product availability and dispatch.
  • Allocate labor, lead meetings, assign duties, and conduct in-depth problem-solving to maintain continuous operations.
  • Train and support employees on standard procedures, equipment, and software.
  • Ensure pickers have the necessary tools and a safe work environment by identifying and resolving hazards.
  • Report systemic issues and update SOPs as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives and perform administrative tasks as required by management.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3+ years experience in operations, managing multidisciplinary teams, in a retail, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Good communicator, motivator, and strong with problem-solving.
  • People management skills (team of 3-10).
  • Prioritization and execution excellence.
  • Good English knowledge.
