The Summit application process leads to an interactive day of learning and culminates with the chance to interview for our Summer 2025 Software Engineering internship. At the virtual Summit event, attendees will experience a unique opportunity to connect with current MongoDB employees and leaders to discover the steps of a successful software engineering career path!

What is the process? 
  • Apply to the Summit
  • Complete and pass our Recruiter Phone Screen interview
    • Chat with a recruiter to discuss your interests and motivations
  • Complete and pass our Karat Technical Video interview
    • Live with a Karat engineer to evaluate your technical skills 
  • Attend our virtual Summit on Thursday, May 23rd
  • Complete our final round interview in September
    • 3 back to back video interviews with MongoDB engineers to evaluate your technical and behavioral skills
What we are looking for in you
  • In the second year of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Graduating at the end of the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or early Summer 2026)
  • Knowledge in any one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go, C++, Javascript, Node.js - or a comparable object-oriented programming language
  • This role is subject to the candidate holding the requisite authority to work in the relevant country of hire.
