Our Opportunity:

Chewy, the fastest growing e-commerce retail businesses in the market today, is a seeking Full-Time motivated and confident individual to join the team and help us to continue our mission of making the world a better place for pets, our partners who care for them, and the communities that serve them. Our Chewy Facilities team delivers a work environment that is engaging, efficient and provides meaningful moments and experiences for our Chewtopians. This role will report to our Regional Facilities Manager. 

The ideal candidate will have a desire to WOW the customer, a passion to improve the well-being of our team members, and a desire to raise the Chewy bar.  

What You'll Do:

  • Operate with a willingness to learn. We share feedback, we get feedback, and we operate in a culture of being open-minded to grow.  Many of our Team Members have grown into other roles and leadership positions, so having a long-term career focus is ideal. 
  • Order and track all office supplies and budget account allocation of respective costs.
  • Maintain security by monitoring and issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintain adequate office supplies stock levels.
  • Welcome guests and inform appropriate party of their arrival.
  • Answer all telephone queries and re-direct calls as necessary.
  • Once a day, ensure conference rooms are tidy.
  • Submit work tickets for Facilities support, as needed.
  • Accurately manage and facilitate large meeting room bookings.
  • Monitor and respond to all facility communications received via email and slack channels throughout the day.
  • Tracks incoming and outgoing packages/parcels, as well as sorting and distributing mail.
  • Submit Facilities corporate credit card expenses to Finance.
  • Support the set up and execution of onsite events and large meetings.
  • Look around corners to find opportunities to improve and raise the Chewy bar.  

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years working as a receptionist in a similar role, with a high bar for customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening). 
  • Adapt well to changing plans and priorities, comfortable dealing with a fast-paced environment and ambiguity. 
  • Ability to operate at depth and live in the details, with an all-around problem-solving skill.  
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work in a team. 
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office skills with an appetite to learn internal tools and programs. 
  • Be a self-starter, have critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
