Onboarding Enablement Manager, Customer Success

The Onboarding Enablement Manager will lead the Customer Success new hire onboarding program focusing not only on the new hire experience but also on the creation of learning paths to set a foundation for a world-class onboarding and everboarding experience. This pivotal role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and refining our comprehensive onboarding strategy to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for Customer Success new hires from onboarding to everboarding. They will play a crucial role in enabling our new hires by overseeing the pre-work, in-person enablement, and post-onboarding support initiatives. Additionally, this role will partner with senior people leaders and go-to-market enablement teams and influence leaders to optimize our resources to set new hires up for success in their first 90 days. Measuring the effectiveness of the program plays an integral part.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your creativity to develop and enhance the new hire onboarding program strategy, incorporating enablement best practices, learning methodologies, and innovative approaches to create a comprehensive onboarding experience
- Design, curate, and manage onboarding materials, resources, and content, including but not limited to pre-work assignments, training modules, and supplementary resources, ensuring relevance and alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and implement learning paths aligned with core competencies to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, ensuring access to ongoing development opportunities
- Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of the in-person GTM Academy onboarding sessions and CS days, fostering engagement, collaboration, and knowledge transfer among new hires and various stakeholders
- Provide data-driven expertise to evolve the onboarding program, validate skill proficiency, and measure knowledge retention
- Explore new learning strategies to ensure enablement is seamless, integrated into the flow of work, and becomes a differentiator for MongoDB
- Build working relationships across the business and use SMEs to help enhance the onboarding program and content
- Implement systems to measure and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the onboarding program
- Recommend and run appropriate tools and integrations to improve retention and application
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in field training, field onboarding, and instructional design
- Experience with enablement processes with expertise in launching programs across a global organization
- Outstanding creative skills for crafting engaging and compelling onboarding content
- Break down concepts and explain them to different audiences using storytelling or scenario-based narratives
- Self-starter who takes initiative for proactively supporting both strategy and tactical execution plans with high attention to detail and delivery excellence
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate high-impact messages and complex ideas in an effective, concise fashion in both verbal and written format
- Outstanding collaboration skills with the desire and patience to work cross-functionally with a diverse global team to establish and meet shared organizational goals
- Ability to remain calm and focused when handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment while still meeting deadlines with ease and accuracy
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS industry experience creating high-quality technical training, activities, and instructional content within a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred; knowledge of Customer Success a plus

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$78,000—$154,000 USD
