🍋 This is how you’ll change the way people eat forever

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Project Manager for our ambitious, growing team in Bleiswijk. Working in the Operational Excellence Production team you are responsible for identifying the impact of business changes in Production and improving our operation continuously.

With business changes we refer to the changes linked to growth and expansion of the company. This can be about new products, new brands, new technologies or other operational changes which require a high effort in implementing or changing. As an OpEx Project Manager, you are the person who takes the constraints of Production into account and makes sure the impact of the business changes on our productivity and errors is as low as possible.

You are involved in cross functional projects and take the lead in implementing projects successfully within Production. The OpEx Project Manager is always challenging the status quo and making sure the right stakeholders are involved, which results in a flawless “Business Change implementation”.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact:

  • You act as a gatekeeper and enabler for Business Changes and you are continuously challenging HelloFresh processes, ensuring their effectiveness.
  • Challenge the status quo to make sure we only implement solutions or changes which have a positive effect on our business targets - OKRs.
  • Provide internal consultative services on specific OpEx projects and activities such as process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, establishing performance standards/metrics, ROI analysis and project management.
  • Follow-up on projects in order to monitor the progress of planned improvements and to assure timely action, appropriate OpEx support, and achievement of the expected benefits.
  • Create insightful business cases, which results in decisions based on data, to create a scalable and sustainable production process.
  • With your excellent project management skills you are able to report the progress, all stakeholders are informed and escalation is done when needed.
  • Guarantee the successful implementation of the Business Changes with the relevant teams.
  • Create documentation (Procedure, SOP, process mapping…) where needed in order to make sure that the potential new processes is documented thoroughly and can always be consulted for reference (according to the Global Process Standardization Framework)

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team:

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in an Operational environment, such as Manufacturing, Production or Fulfillment, preferably in FMCG.
  • 2 - 4 years of proven experience in Project Management managing mid-to-large scale projects.
  • Preferred experience in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement, in the principles and methodologies of World Class Manufacturing, Lean Management and/or Toyota Production System.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing mid-to-large scale projects. As a strong Project Manager, you know how to set up and finish projects successfully, and how to engage your stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset and know how to use data as the basis of your decisions.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, able to navigate and influence others from C-level down to the shop-floor with different communication techniques.
  • You don’t shy away from a challenge and are able to perform in a fast-paced and continuously changing work environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt (Green or Black) or Lean Leader Certified is a plus.
  • Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.

🥕 This is our recipe:

  • Freedom to initiate, execute and implement your own ideas.
  • The opportunity to engage and collaborate with our colleagues across the globe.
  • Learning and development opportunities including a personal development budget.
  • 24 holidays per year, plus 1 day per additional year of work.
  • A hybrid work setup, with a budget to help set up your home office.
  • Flexibility to work abroad.
