The role

We are looking for an Operations Intern for our ambitious, new and fast growing Operations team in Amsterdam. Working within the Operations team, you provide support and assistance in ensuring the smooth production and delivery of ready-to-eat meals to our customers and the expanding European market.

With plenty of exciting and unknown challenges ahead, we're seeking an Operations Intern who loves a fast-paced environment and contributes across multiple operational departments.  You’re empowered to make an impact together with the (still small) rest of the team, all sharing  a hands-on mentality.

What you’ll do
  • Take on the challenge of creating structure within a large amount of data, supporting and presenting it to everyone in the team to collaborate on improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and be supported in strengthening your communication and presentation skills, while working on cross-functional team projects with different (international) personalities. 
  • Develop a structured way of working, by supporting various departments in facilitating coordinating on their administrative tasks, and documenting the most efficient methodologies in a presentable manner. 
  • Dive into unexpected and unforeseen situations armed with a pragmatic and open mindset. Provide and document new information, to elevate the team's decision making process.
What you’ll bring
  • Fluent in English
  • An analytical mindset and experience in using data as basis for decision making
  • High level understanding of operational upstream and downstream supply chain processes.
  • Curious to the ever changing food market, and European consumer culinary habits
  • You don’t shy away from uncertainty and know to perform in a fast-pace environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, tasks, and work environments are essential
  • Paying close attention to details and maintaining accuracy in tasks is important for maintaining operational efficiency and preventing errors
  • Ability to enhance and streamline repetitive tasks
  • You’re pro-active, ambitious, and make things happen - just like the rest of the team!
