YOUR MISSION
The Operations Specialist (Glover Specialist) will play a pivotal role in leading and supervising Glovers in their day-to-day operations. This includes managing Couriers, collaborating with Management to develop and oversee organizational and program budgets, and ensuring overall organizational effectiveness. By providing strong leadership in financial and operational functions, the Operations Specialist will drive the success and efficiency of our operations.
THE JOURNEY
- Plan and oversee strategic, operational, and administrative programs, ensuring the success of our initiatives and driving organizational growth.
- Recruit, train, and onboard Couriers, providing them with the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles and represent our brand effectively.
- Implement and optimize strategies for Courier acquisition and retention, using a data-sensitive approach to make informed decisions and enhance our operations.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership, helping to shape and refine our policies, practices, and procedures for maximum effectiveness.
- Manage scheduling, attendance, and administration of Info-Sessions, while supporting daily operations through operational supervision and detailed analysis of KPIs.
- Improve processes and policies to support organizational goals, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, and optimizing delivery times and Courier earnings.
- Analyze daily and weekly operation metrics, develop analytical frameworks and models, and recommend effective financial strategies for the long-term success of the city.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive environment, ensuring service levels are maintained, customer satisfaction is achieved, and overseeing organizational insurance policies and health and safety meetings.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office programs or ERP systems, demonstrating strong computer literacy.
- Experience in on-demand delivery services is highly desirable.
- Open to direction with a collaborative work style and a strong commitment to achieving results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Results-oriented, autonomous, and efficient in managing tasks and projects.
- Ability to challenge and debate important issues, contributing valuable insights to the organization.
- Capable of viewing situations from multiple perspectives to find the best solutions.
- Persuasive and detail-oriented, using facts to support arguments and drive decisions.
