Role summary:

We are seeking a Payment Solutions Manager to join our Online Payments team in New York City and lead critical initiatives across our global payment ecosystem. This role focuses on card processing flows, acquirer connectivity, and dependencies across internal and external systems, ensuring operations run securely, efficiently, and at scale.

You will take part in the design, execution, and optimization of payment operations, with a strong emphasis on card scheme compliance, involvement in payment provider partnerships, and payment processing projects.

This position requires strong initiative, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payment operations within the fintech or online payments industry, a deep understanding of payment systems and technologies, and the ability to manage complex projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with B2B payments and card scheme operations is a strong advantage.

 

What you'll do:

  • Lead initiatives that enhance card processing and alternative payment flows.
  • Collaborate with payment providers and acquiring banks to ensure stability and compliance.
  • Manage payment processing projects to improve success rates, scalability, and reliability.
  • Understand and manage dependencies between internal platforms and external systems.
  • Work closely with tech, compliance, finance, and external stakeholders to deliver seamless payment experiences.
  • Ensure adherence to card scheme rules, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

 

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of experience in online/mobile payments or fintech—must have!
  • Strong understanding of how payments work end-to-end, including card processing flows and operational dependencies.
  • Analytical skills are essential: proficiency in Excel and BI tools for monitoring payment performance; SQL is a nice-to-have.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with B2B payment flows and card scheme operations is a strong advantage.
  • Technical knowledge is a bonus—understanding APIs, integrations, and orchestration platforms is helpful.

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is$125,000—$148,000 USD
