Are you an experienced Backend .NET Engineer ready for your next challenge? If you are passionate about the latest technologies and can handle business-critical responsibilities, then this is the role for you! Our Player Account Management area focuses on the first touch-points of our customers across all of our brands and markets; covering the customer journey from landing page to registration flow and account settings, all the way through to making their first deposit and beyond.

In addition to your local colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with other teams from Stockholm, Tallinn and Budapest. Share knowledge and experience with other developers and stay up-to-date with global best practices.

Our Backend team works on our customer domain, handling registrations, logins, self-exclusions, reality checks, limits, reporting, and much more. We are also utilising microservices and containerization with Docker.

What we are looking for
  • .NET C# experience with knowledge of the ASP.NET Web API
  • Implementing distributed and multi-tier/microservices systems
  • Understanding of design patterns
  • Collaborating with teams to create awesome new features
  • Communicating in English
Extra awesome
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
  • .NET Core 3+
  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • NServiceBus / Kafka / RabbitMQ
  • DevOps experience
  • Unit testing expertise
A flavour of what you'll be doing

On a weekly basis we estimate and plan our sprints or new features together as a team, and we are constantly working to improve performance.

You will have the opportunity to work on new features and components as Betsson regularly enters new markets, but you will also work on maintenance and improvements of the existing system.
