PR Specialist - EMEA
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organized Public Relations Specialist to join Mintel’s global marketing team and help drive awareness, authority, and demand across EMEA.
As a PR Specialist, you will play a critical role in executing Mintel’s earned- and owned-first marketing strategy, supporting media relations, thought leadership, and integrated campaigns that position Mintel as a leader in predictive intelligence and the future of CPG innovation.
This role is designed as a broad, execution-focused position spanning media relations, content, social amplification, and stakeholder collaboration, reflecting the evolving needs of Mintel’s PR function and the shift toward more integrated, high-impact marketing. You will report to the PR Director, EMEA & AMER, and work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Insights, Commercial, and the global PR team.
What you will be doing
•Raising brand awareness & authority
- Drive Mintel’s visibility across top-tier (gold list) and regional media in EMEA
- Amplify Mintel’s thought leadership, product innovation, and expert perspectives through PR activity aligned to FY26 priorities
- Support integrated campaigns (e.g., Thought Leadership Program, flagship brand moments, product launches)
- Contribute to the development and growth of Mintel’s podcast as a core thought leadership channel, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and priority narratives
- Serve as a key point of contact for inbound media inquiries, making sound judgment calls on prioritization and alignment
- Coordinate interview opportunities with Mintel’s analysts and Principal Strategists
- Ensure fast, high-quality responses that reflect Mintel’s authority and positioning
- Identify compelling stories from Mintel’s data, insights, and expert POVs
- Write press releases, media pitches, blog content, and supporting materials
- Translate complex insights into clear, engaging narratives for external audiences
- oSupport end-to-end podcast content development, including identifying episode topics aligned to Mintel’s insights, campaigns, and news cycles
- Collaborate with hosts and subject matter experts to shape episode angles, structure, and talking points
- Translate Mintel expert POVs into compelling, audience-first podcast narratives
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists across business, trade, and consumer media
- Proactively pitch stories aligned to news cycles, cultural moments, and Mintel priorities
- Maintain and evolve media lists and databases
- Partner with Principal Strategists and analysts to bring expert POVs to market
- Support media training, briefing preparation, and interview coordination
- Help identify opportunities to elevate Mintel voices across media, events, and owned channels
- Work closely with Marketing, Insights, and Commercial teams to align PR with campaigns, demand generation, and client engagement
- Ensure consistent messaging across regions and channels
- Ensure podcast content is fully integrated into broader marketing campaigns, thought leadership themes, and commercial priorities

- Support delivery of Mintel’s podcast, from planning through promotion
- Identify episode topics aligned to insights, campaigns, and news cycles
- Support guest outreach, scheduling, and preparation
- Contribute to the development of promotional plans and content to maximize reach and engagement
- Support the amplification of PR coverage and thought leadership across Mintel’s owned channels
- Develop and support promotional plans for podcast episodes across owned channels, particularly LinkedIn
- Generate ideas for engaging promotional assets, including video clips, audiograms, and social-first content
- Work with Brand/Design to brief and deliver creative assets that maximize reach and engagement
- Track and report on PR performance, with a focus on quality, impact, and contribution to business goals
- Contribute to regional and global PR reporting
- Use insights to continuously improve PR effectiveness and prioritization
- Track podcast performance (downloads, engagement, reach) and use insights to optimize content, format, and promotion
