Principal Product Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of innovative solutions for governing use of personal data in data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers can trust, manage, and utilize their data effectively across these leading cloud data platforms.
Responsibilities:• Define the long-term product vision and roadmap for governing personal data within Snowflake and Databricks, aligning with overall business goals.
• Conduct in-depth customer research to understand their evolving data governance challenges and needs, with a specific focus on evaluating and enforcing access controls & policies on data.
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product marketing) to design, develop, and launch new features and functionalities that enable integrated solutions for data policy evaluation and enforcement.
• Partner with key stakeholders (executive leadership, sales, marketing) to champion data governance solutions and secure necessary resources.
• Develop and present compelling product roadmaps and presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of data governance products, including the effectiveness of policy enforcement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data governance, particularly those related to data policy automation and AI-powered solutions.
• Mentor other product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the product team.
Qualifications:• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in bringing complex enterprise software solutions to market.
• Extensive experience in data governance, with a deep understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
• Demonstrated experience building integrated solutions for evaluating and enforcing data policies on data platforms.
• Experience working with Snowflake and Databricks (or similar cloud data platforms) at a leadership level.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.Proprietary
• A data-driven mindset with a passion for building user-centric products that solve real-world business problems.
Extra Awesome• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Experience with data lineage, access control, data quality tools, data masking techniques, and AI/ML for data governance automation.
• Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures.
• CIPP/E or CIPM certified.
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Beyond that, we give our leaders and teams the flexibility to set additional guidelines based on the nature of your role.
- Location-flex: Similar to other companies’ remote policies, for OneTrust “Location-flex" roles, you will primarily work from your home office location. However, you may be required to travel to our OneTrust offices or customer sites periodically based on the nature of your role.
