The role

You’ll join a young company at the sweet spot of timing, right before starting its growth trajectory. Alongside our Director of brand & Experience Design (former director at IDEO) and our lean design team, you will be able to take over ownership very quickly and fast-track your professional development. You will have the opportunity to work on all our digital products, which gives you exposure to all kinds of challenges, from mobile and desktop to web.

Your responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Lead design projects from inception to delivery, ensuring a user-centric approach that meets all user and stakeholder needs.
  • Holistic User Experience Design: Innovate across physical and digital touchpoints, setting new user experience standards in the healthcare sector.
  • User Testing Expertise: Execute and support user testing with qualitative and quantitative methods to validate solutions and inform design decisions.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Develop sketches, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate ideas and swiftly explore solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and the development of the right product features.
  • UI Design Excellence: Work closely with engineering to deliver impeccable UI designs for web, iOS, and Android platforms that are ready for development.
  • Design System Contribution: Actively contribute to the development and refinement of our internal design system, promoting consistency across all user touchpoints.
  • Curiosity and inspiration: Stay abreast of UI/UX trends and innovations, applying new ideas to projects and sharing insights with the team.
Required Skills and Experiences
  • At least 3 years of experience in a UX/UI design role within a product-driven environment
  • Exceptional ability in crafting visually appealing and highly usable interfaces, evidenced by a standout portfolio, showcasing a strong user-centered design methodology and exceptional interface design skills (ideally having worked on both mobile and web apps)
  • A keen eye for detail without losing sight of the overarching product vision.
  • Ability to understand user needs based on research and data analysis
  • Ensure design decisions not only meet user expectations but also align with and drive forward the company’s business goals, demonstrating a clear understanding of how product and design contribute to overall business success.
  • Willingness to take over a lot of responsibility and being 100% reliable
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think structurally and work independently
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and efficient communication skills
  • Full working proficiency in German and English
  • You want to change the health care landscape forever
  • Having some understanding and experience in working with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS is a plus
