This role is a flexible hybrid role based out of our Somerville, MA HQ. 

 

About the Role:

The Edge Group connects our customers’ people, machines, and systems to Tulip. You will be a Product Manager for the group, focused on solving customer problems at the intersection of edge and cloud computing. You will be primarily working on the platform side focusing on solving problems in the areas of configuration, management, and overall growth and adoption of our runtimes (Tulip Player) and Edge Devices (Tulip OS and hardware) on our customers’ shop floors.  

 

About You:

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit (you're self-driven and you don’t need direction), a sense of humor, and get-it-done personality.
  • You have an affinity for the fast-paced, fast-changing environment of a start-up, and may have experience from a hyper growth start-up

 

What skills do I need? 

  • 5+ years of product management experience at a SaaS company 
  • A software-focused Product Manager, with a strong technical background, you excel at analytical thinking, data analysis, and experimentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator. You can explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership; you are an experienced mentor and are comfortable directing products across large areas of ownership and scope.
  • Experience in low-code platforms or edge computing, and configuration and management at scale is a plus

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct product roadmap and vision, fostering cross-functional impact
  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted communicator, internally and externally 
  • Identify, define, and document processes that improve and grow the team, facilitating implementation and ownership
  • Leverage deep market and customer insights to inform product development
  • Utilize data extensively to drive joint product and business KPIs
  • Guide and mentor team members, promoting knowledge sharing and growth
