Joining Collibra’s Data Quality & Observability team
  • You will play a crucial role in leading one of Collibra’s top product priorities - embedding powerful data quality & observability capabilities into the market leading data catalog and governance platform.
  • Reporting to the Director of Product, Data Quality & Observability, you will define product strategy, informed by customer feedback and market analysis, as well as dive into technical details with design and engineering to ensure optimal UX and performance.
  • You will join a small team of highly collaborative product managers delivering significant innovations for our customers.
  • This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC.
Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Leading a cross-functional agile scrum team throughout the product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond
  • Meeting with Fortune-1000 customers regularly to understand use cases, share our roadmap, collect feedback, and influence buyers
  • Working with peers in our go-to-market organization to refine product priorities, shape product positioning and messaging, and provide training and enablement
  • Prioritizing a roadmap of high-value initiatives to drive business outcomes while constantly evolving the strategy based on measured results
  • Researching the fast-paced data tools landscape to inform product strategy and positioning
You have
  • 2+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS organization
  • Experience with data technologies (e.g. data storage technologies, databases, ETL tools, etc.) either as a practitioner or through previous experience building data tools
  • Experience capturing, analyzing, and documenting product requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • Highly collaborative in nature and can successfully partner with senior leaders in product, engineering, product marketing, and sales
  • Able to see the big-picture but can also zoom into intricate details when needed
  • An excellent communicator who can inspire teammates with a clear product vision but can also distill complex product needs into clearly defined requirements
  • Familiar with the fields of data quality and data observability and aware of common patterns and use cases in these fields
  • Familiar with data engineering tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and others
  • A thoughtful leader who considers diverse perspectives before making tough decisions and moving the team forward
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will take ownership of the scrum team to help execute in-flight projects, learn our products with hands-on experience, and meet customers to understand their use cases.
  • Within your third month, you will define your first feature including identifying relevant personas, their current challenges and the potential value proposition, detailing a proposed solution in collaboration with design and engineering and soliciting feedback internally and externally.
  • Within your sixth month, you will launch a new feature enhancement to production, partnering with marketing and customer success to ensure adoption. Further, you will prioritize a roadmap of product enhancements aligned with business goals and priorities.
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $140,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
