Note: We work in a hybrid set-up at Showpad where we value in-person interaction and flexibility. That means we expect to see you in the office twice a week and in hub locations we come together at least once a month.

 

Position Overview: 

The Product Marketing Manager at Showpad will play a crucial role in shaping the Showpad eOS product positioning and differentiation in the market. This individual will possess a thorough understanding of our products, market, customers, competitors, partners, and services, and the value they deliver. They will help develop, improve, and refine targeted product messaging and inform our product and go-to-market teams with voice of the customer analysis. They will also contribute to developing Showpad’s analyst relations strategy to establish credibility and build brand awareness amongst the analyst community that influences purchase decisions in our market. This position will report to the Director of Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Gain a deep understanding of our buyer and user personas—their challenges, pain points, desired business outcomes, and relevant metrics they use to measure success.
  • Turn technical features and functionality into customer use cases and business value that map to the priorities of our personas and can be easily understood by internal and external audiences.
  • Develop value-oriented materials for each of our solution offerings and enable GTM teams on how to use them effectively.
  • Help oversee the voice of the customer, competitive and market intelligence, tracking trends and developments in the enablement space, adjacent markets, and the broader marketing and sales tech landscape. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive offerings, distilling these inputs into actionable insights and concrete product improvement ideas to drive product strategy and inform the product team about solution gaps and differentiators.
  • Help drive awareness of Showpad offerings, and expand analysts’ understanding of our company strategy, product vision, solution capabilities, customer focus, and partner ecosystem.
  • Help execute on Forrester Waves, Gartner Magic Quadrants, and IDC Market Scapes.
  • Develop and refine ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) messaging and differentiation.
  • Partner with our Product Marketing team on product releases, as well as our enablement team to ensure effective GTM enablement.
  • Develop positioning for the company and our vision for the market.
  • Develop and execute positioning and strategy for new partnerships.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of understanding technology and converting technical features and functionality into business/solution value.
  • Experience in developing, testing, and refining company and product messaging and positioning.
  • Experience in developing and executing analyst relations strategies, particularly with Forrester, Gartner, and IDC.
  • Familiarity in executing Forrester Waves and Gartner Magic Quadrants, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong project management skills, enabling the execution of multiple projects simultaneously and keeping stakeholders informed, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to convert data into insights and communicate them with the broader Showpad GTM, product, and executive teams.
  • A team player that excels at cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
