Product Operations Coordinator
Location: HWY 403 & Dundas St W, Mississauga
Shift: This role will provide a part time scheduling covering Tuesday to Thursday, with working hours between 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility based on business needs will be required.
About the Role
The Product Operations Coordinator will orchestrate the ongoing creation and management of digital assets and information for Factor Canada, many of which our customers interact with daily – including recipe copywriting and photography, menu content, and more. Reporting to the Sr. Product Specialist, and as part of the Physical Product team, you will play a key role in ensuring that both internal and external product-related content is clear and correct, establishing processes and procedures to support scale. You will work closely with our Culinary, Nutrition, and Menu Planning divisions, establishing operational best practices and leading key quality initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Establish a high-quality working relationship with our content partners to upload, update and activate weekly recipes and menus online for both HelloFresh and Chefs Plate.
- Responsible for maintaining content accuracy across all platforms and for ensuring recipe photography used in print and online are accurate and of high quality - you are the photo expert for HelloFresh Canada!
- Support our Editorial team with administrative tasks such as assisting with dynamic weekly copy and photo updates to recipe cards. You will also serve as the point of contact for asset hand-off between external contractors and our internal team (i.e. translation, design).
- Complete data and content clean-up tasks across our recipe database and customer content management system as needed.
- Conduct weekly menu checks online and in our internal tools to ensure our customers view content that is engaging and easy to understand.
- Identify and highlight potential gaps in operational processes to our content management partners to enable growth and share learnings that support collaboration.
- Support the execution and implementation of short-term and long-term product operations-based projects.
At a minimum, you have:
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (Bonus points if you have food or editing experience and/or education!).
- Be data-driven and have knowledge of Google Sheets. You are comfortable working with large datasets and are able to manage and summarize data efficiently.
- An eye for detail - you’ll catch the smallest of things.
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines in a given week.
- A desire to continuously seek and implement process improvement.
- Confidence in your work and abilities - you’re able to problem-solve independently.
