Lyft is looking for a strategic partner to the business to support our global Contingent Workforce Program.  The Program Lead will balance strategic priorities while helping to manage day-to-day administrative tasks, working cross functionally with teams like Legal, IT, Procurement, etc. You’ll help the team re-imagine our processes with the customers in mind, finding opportunities for automation while managing risk for Lyft. 

Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally to support day-to-day operations of contingent workforce programs, such as onboarding and offboarding contractors
  • Identify areas of risk proactively and partner with cross-functional teams to drive solutions to mitigate such risks
  • Identify operational opportunities and help improve existing or develop new processes
  • Consult with business leaders to better understand their workforce needs and advise on the appropriate strategy
  • Establish and develop relationships with all key stakeholders: suppliers, internal customers, internal People team, Procurement, Legal, IT, and other business stakeholders to drive and understand global operational needs, create processes that will drive adoption of and compliance
  • Ensure compliance among contingent workforce and suppliers
Experience:
  • 3+ years work experience in project management, managing complex and business critical projects
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce management, Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of contingent workforce guidelines and best practices, as well as contingent workforce risk and compliance strategies
  • Self-directed, detailed oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bonus points: Experience working in any Vendor Management System (VMS)
  • Bonus points: Experience in data analysis, with the ability to review complex datasets and extract key insights to inform strategic decision-making

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule following the establishment of a Lyft office in Nashville — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Nashville area is $68,880-$86,100. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
