The Toast Community team is focused on building programs and spaces to bring our restaurants together: connecting our customers to each other and to Toast employees to help them go live and thrive with Toast. 

We are looking for a Program Manager who is passionate about the power of community to connect, to educate and to inspire. Working closely with our partners in Customer Marketing and Education, you will lead the strategy and execution for Community self-service, peer-to-peer support, and education programming

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Design and execute a Community engagement strategy to encourage self-service, peer-to-peer connection and deeper usage of the Toast platform
  • Scale existing programs and create new programs that encourage people to connect
  • Partner with our Training and Education teams to more deeply integrate our community and education experiences
  • Implement gamification and recognition programs to recognize our top community participants and improve engagement
  • Scale moderation by empowering Toasters and customers to participate in community moderation
  • Establish a User Generated Content strategy to amplify the voices in our community

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in online community management
  • Experience building, launching and growing community programs
  • A track record of running successful complex, cross-departmental projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about the power of community and about working with and supporting customers
  • Excited to experiment and try new things
  • Experience working in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus
  • Experience with Khoros Community platform is a plus

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$80,000—$128,000 USD
