Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you are a strategic thinker who loves learning everything there is to know about a client’s brand, business, tech and customer. You have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and you know what it takes to deliver a digital experiencethat can improve the lives of customers and surpasses the goals of clients. Both the client services and project delivery worlds are successfully navigated by your proactive communication of project statuses, issues, and opportunities to clients. You will plan, schedule, and control all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and leadership skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
You will:
- Develop and execute project plans according to established procedures, channels, and success expectations
- Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions
- Establish clear project parameters supporting the success of all internal and client team members
- Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team and clients where required
- Promote high standards of professional integrity on all proposed and actual client business solutions
- Provide and promote high standards of professionalism and leadership both within and outside the organization, appropriately representing Critical Mass’ business philosophies, protocols, and standards
- Negotiate, define, communicate, and manage the scope of the project, typically holding responsibility for authoring project DSOWs
- Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements
- Forecast, track and manage project budgets, POs, and invoices
- Define and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
- Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
- Identify, analyse, prioritize, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes high quality work
- Participating in client, vendor, and internal meetings
- Collaborate with discipline leaders for project estimation and resource allocation
You have:
- 2-4 years-experience managing a variety of digital project types; site builds, content management systems, marketing campaigns, microsites, and maintenance. Ideally experience will include supporting over each phase of the product delivery lifecycle from requirements capture through to post live support
- Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Keynote
- Experience with collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Box, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong understanding of how to manage and control project scope, schedule, budget, and resource management / reporting and change management, project roadmap development, and revenue forecasting
- Experience in team management and client communications
- Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and are responsive to feedback
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills to facilitate effective task and resource management
- Demonstrated communication, presentation, management, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example
- The ability to stay focused on driving goals, even in high-pressure situation
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
