About the role

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of Syncron’s products from multiple users’ perspectives. You will be preparing and maintaining test data and test scenarios, executing them continuously and reporting issues to software developers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, own and deliver on manual test plans for new features
  • Create and maintain test data
  • Test environment set-up
  • Analyse business requirements and prepare test cases and scenarios
  • Identify areas that require improvements and enhancements
  • Perform manual testing before release
  • Report test results
  • Design and maintain test documentation
  • Identify and address gaps in testing coverage
  • Continuously learn about software testing and spread knowledge of new solution within the team and externally

 

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of software testing
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing
  • Ability to analyse and understand business and functional aspects of developed product
  • Enjoying maths and solving complex problems
  • Business acumen and willingness to explore the wide context of each task
  • Database skills, familiarity with SQL (joins, aggregation, sorting, date comparison, three-valued logic, etc.)
  • Self-reliance and ability to self-organize
  • Great communication skills, experience working in a cross-functional, agile team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a highly multi-tasked environment
  • Fluent English and Polish skills both verbal and written
  • Experience in programming allowing to develop tests in Java – will be a plus
