Lyft is looking for a Technical Recruiting Manager who embodies our values and will help us continue growing our recruiting teams. This role will oversee all US and Canada hiring for our core engineering teams (Software Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Mobile, etc.). You will develop, drive, and execute staffing strategies with your team that support the needs of your customers. You will build strong partnerships with executives and engineering leaders and work alongside your talent acquisition peers to create an efficient and engaging interview process.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 7+ recruiters as well as their career growth and performance reviews, providing mentorship, constructive feedback and coaching
  • Develop, drive, and execute staffing strategies with your team that support the needs of your engineering leaders
  • Utilize data and metrics to diagnose gaps, issues and proactively provide solutions to your stakeholders and recruiters.
  • Partner directly with executives and leaders within several engineering teams to deeply understand their needs and bring new scalable solutions. 
  • Innovate on ways to build a strong talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues
  • Work cross-functionally with your recruiting manager peers, legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc. to unblock issues, find efficiencies and better support the needs of your customers
Experience:
  • 3+ years experiences building and managing a high-performing team 
  • Experience building inclusive and diverse teams for recruiting and for the business. A good eye for talent with the ability to efficiently assess and mentor.
  • Experience in a fast-growth, dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • An active and data driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better the hiring process
  • Full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with experience closing tough candidates, managing demanding clients, and developing key internal partnerships 
  • Excellent communications skills and confidence to be in front of internal and external leaders
  • Experience supporting large scale software engineering, infrastructure or security teams is a plus.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected range of pay for this position in the Toronto area is $124,800 CAD - $156,000 CAD. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
