What we’re looking for:

As part of our expanding global proposal management initiative, we are actively seeking an RFP Specialist to support our team across various regions. In this role, you will assist in the creation of value-based proposals by coordinating response efforts across multiple stakeholders, including the sales team, channel partners, product managers, and other subject matter experts across the organization. You will also help contribute to the team’s success by helping to document processes, creating and maintaining response tools and templates, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and Cloudflare response guidelines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and create responses that address customer needs.
  • Help maintain a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits and other data resources to facilitate high-quality and accurate responses.
  • Create process documentation, maintain team pages on the company intranet, and help develop relevant sales-facing training and enablement materials.
  • Assist with development of tracking and reports to accurately reflect team workload and availability.
  • Contribute to other departmental continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior experience in RFP management, procurement, sales, or revenue operations desired.
  • Strong interest in RFP management with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area
  • Ability to work to time constraints while maintaining attention to detail; prioritizing tasks and setting expectations accordingly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal to effectively engage with internal stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to be part of a lean and busy team
  • Strong knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with proposal management software (e.g. RFPIO, Loopio, Qvidian) and/or wiki-based content management systems (e.g. Confluence) is desired but not required
