Role: Senior Account Director
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
About the role:We are looking for an established Senior Account Director ready to build the next brand in their career. You will be the Senior Account Director to work in with the client, via OLIVER’s in-house set up, to help them strengthen their brand and product presence in the competitive media landscape. The Senior Account Director will lead the account. Working in partnership with our Design Director to manage and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of 6-7 people. The team will be based in-house for a minimum of three days in office.
What you will be doing:- What we want to see it a proven record of accomplishment of driving multiple complex projects forward. You should have meticulous attention to detail.
- Line management of the team.
- Account leadership. Set the account strategy and plan, working with the Design Director and. Execute that plan through careful client and team management.
- Team leadership. Encourage an inclusive team environment whilst keeping client centricity at the core of the team culture and values.
- Account operations. You make sure we are easy to work and set the standard of the service
- Client relationship growth. By acting as the client’s strategic partner, you find opportunities to help them hit their goals, which serves to grow OLIVER’s revenue and relationship. You also proactively manage scope creep and manage new business wins
- Commercial management. Manage a profitable account with timely billing and reporting, negotiate and secure budgets with clients. Design and implement action plans when these go off track.
- Client reports. Working with the team, you provide insightful and action-first monthly and quarterly reports to the client covering our team, product, and process.
- Project delivery. Working with the client servicing team and client, you make sure projects are delivered on time through decisive direction
- Forward planning. You think beyond the day to day and plan for future opportunities. Activities that we know and activities that we proactively suggest helping the client meet their goals.
- Elevate the creative output. You bring strategic insight to discussions; your persuasion skills can refocus the OLIVER and client team and partner with the creatives to deliver work that pushes boundaries.
- Stakeholder management. Build excellent relationships with clients at all levels, manage OLIVER internal stakeholders and manage upwards when required.

- Experienced leader and a strong understanding of how to motivate and develop high performing teams.
- Experience of building and sustaining meaningful client partnerships whilst maintaining a strong commercial focus.
- Experience working on demanding global brands and projects that have touched non-European markets.
- Results driven – creation of and delivery against business plans driven by growth targets
- Excellent communication skills to be able to robustly present ideas to clients, and continually cascade knowledge / news throughout immediate team and the wider business
- Not afraid to challenge or share ideas.
- Confident working autonomously with any third party collaborators.
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
- A passion for creative work, with evidence that your previous accounts have produced work that pushes boundaries and experiments.
- Integrated experience, with a focus on digital. The best candidates will have experience working in app communications, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), social and community management, non-traditional media, etc.
- You are the kind of person who wants to build something. Right from the brand value proposition to the identity, to the experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role/environment.
