We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant (all genders) to support our finance team. The ideal candidate is passionate about accounting and finance and is excited to join a dynamic and growing start-up company. In this role, you will also be asked to use your problem-solving skills to push continuous process improvement and to take initiative.   This includes: 

• Handling the day-to-day accounting functions of the company 
• Preparing the financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS 
• Performing various general accounting processes and handle activities surrounding the monthly closing
• Working closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team so they can prepare and manage budgets and forecasts 
• Generating financial reports for senior management 
• Actively collaborating with external stakeholders, including tax advisors and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate efficient financial management 
• Developing, evolving and implementing new processes to eliminate manual work

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus 
• 5+ years of accounting experience 
• Good knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Experience managing budgets and financial forecasts
• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements in an international environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment is a plus
• Experience with ERP-systems – nice to have 
• Fluency in English and German
