THE ROLE
As a Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets, you will orchestrate the full lifecycle of Everpure’s global physical and intangible assets across 26+ entities. You will act as a critical guardian of our balance sheet, transforming complex global spend into accurate financial narratives within our high-growth environment. By partnering with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between operational procurement and financial reporting, you will ensure our global investments are capitalized with precision and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Master the Asset Lifecycle: Own end-to-end fixed asset accounting—from purchase order approval and accurate tax classification to final disposal—ensuring the Everpure™ Platform reflects a real-time, accurate picture of our global infrastructure.
- Lead Financial Accuracy: Drive the month-end close for 26+ global entities, overseeing complex reconciliations, Construction-in-Progress (CIP) transitions, and multi-national accruals to ensure 100% alignment with US GAAP.
- Automate & Innovate: Modernize our reporting workflows by leveraging AI tools, Google Apps Script, and ERP functionality (SAP/NetSuite) to eliminate manual processes and accelerate our time-to-close.
- Ensure Audit Excellence: Manage the preparation of audit-ready documentation and internal controls, serving as a primary point of contact for SOX compliance and both domestic and international external audits.
- Partner for Growth: Collaborate with global project teams to identify assets ready for service, providing the financial insights necessary to support large-scale ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Technical Financial Expertise: Deep knowledge of US GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles, specifically in managing multi-entity and multi-currency environments within a SOX-compliant framework.
- Operational Accounting Mastery: Proven ability to lead a complex close process, including experience with use tax accruals, CIP management, and the nuances of global asset classification.
- Systems & Automation Fluency: Advanced proficiency in SAP or NetSuite, combined with a "tech-forward" mindset that uses advanced Excel, Google Apps Script, or AI tools to streamline data-heavy workflows.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse geographies and cultures, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive process improvements independently.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
