Position Overview

StepStone is seeking a marketing professional to execute and support the StepStone Private Wealth marketing and communication business and sales strategies. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and maintaining various materials across all funds (US and International), managing social media posts, collaborating with teams on event-related logistics, managing internal and external communications, updating the website and other general support.  

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the candidate will have a variety of responsibilities and will work in close coordination with numerous departments within StepStone. It also requires strong creative skills to help the team with an array of design projects, presentations, and communications leveraging various platforms.

To excel in this role, the candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing numerous concurrent projects, and have a desire to seek out new platforms and technologies to help scale the business at it grows.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage communications platform (Pardot) to build and send mass communications
  • Update standard suite of marketing materials on routine cadence
  • Design new collateral within different programs including, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe, etc.
  • Conduct various research projects and report on the findings
  • Support conferences and event programs, including lead generation, logistics management, and attendee & speaker coordination
  • Internal intranet (Seismic) maintenance and overall functionality including: updating library content, archiving outdated materials, setting up workflows, customizing reports, troubleshooting, and data automation
  • Write short, concise, and powerful social media posts
  • Manage expectations with various teams in terms of deliverables
  • Oversee the flow of documentation to various compliance teams depending on the jurisdiction of use
  • Handle relationship with third-party vendor to translate marketing materials as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High degree of organization and ability to prioritize appropriately
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to own an initiative from concept to completion
  • Proven experience with managing concurrent projects and meeting deadlines
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (required)
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Proven aptitude to thrive in a team-driven group
  • Knowledge of web-based applications (Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress) and HTML (preferred)
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, finance (or other related degree preferred)
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, asset management or other related businesses (preferred)
