Senior Analyst/Associate - Investor Services

Position OverviewStepStone is seeking a motivated self-starter, focused, and organized individual to join our Investor Services team in Dublin, Ireland. This role offers a unique opportunity to be among the first hires in this office/team. This individual will play an integral part in establishing our local presence and operational footprint in this region including expanding global coverage and local capabilities. The Investor Services team manages investor inquiries, investor reporting, document postings and the processing of Limited partner transfers across asset classes. The Investor Service Senior Analyst/Associate will be responsible for managing robust client-level data in the investor portal, including management and acting as the first line of response for the investor services inbox, processing time-sensitive documents, data maintenance, and transfers. The position serves as a trusted resource for the maintenance of client-level CRM information and direct assistance to Limited Partners to ensure all inquiries are answered in a timely manner; strong data management, detail orientation, problem-solving and follow-through skills are required.
Essential Job Functions:• Act as a primary contact for external clients, answering inquiries directly, liaising with other departments to obtain accurate answers or reporting on the client’s behalf and ensuring a white glove client servicing experience• Manage and monitor shared inboxes, ensuring same-day responses and follow-ups• Coordinate with Fund Accounting, Tax and Onboarding stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely fund/investor-level postings• Prepare investor portal postings and creating client communication covering the European fund and investor population and assisting with other regional postings as needed• Ability to perform secondary posting checks/approvals upon training and internal skill-level assessment• Establish best practices as it relates to vendor management oversight. Collaborate with local Compliance team to integrate local Compliance oversight and procedural practices related to AML / KYC reviews and escalations.• Compile and evaluate investor data for internal reporting• Manage data quality projects with minimal oversight and strong follow-through• Identify key integration points across systems and points of automation for process efficiencies• Prepare and maintain procedures and documentation for the team as operational responsibilities grow• Maintain investor data and documentation in line with Compliance and Regulatory standards• Risk orientated mind-set when facilitating requests• Collaborate with global teams to ensure handovers and coverage across time zones are seamless• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:• 3+ years notable experience in Investor Services and/or using and managing Salesforce, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft SharePoint or an equivalent database• Demonstrated track record of handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel required (vlookups, sumifs, etc.); proficient in other Microsoft Office applications• AML/KYC experience preferred• Proven in teamwork, flexibility, rigor, detail orientation, the ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail-oriented environment and continuous improvement• Related client service experience in financial services, alternative fund or corporate administration or similar field experience• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
Preferred:• Basic understanding of fund Accounting/Investor Services/Alternative Investments• Bachelor’s degree
