The ChallengeOneTrust is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Senior Benefits Specialist to support our Global Benefits Team. The Senior Benefits Specialist is an integral partner in providing customer service to our employees. The ideal person will be a self-starter with great customer service skills, and have excellent time-, organizational-, relationship-, and project-management skills. We are looking for someone who can effectively deliver on multiple tasks and handle a high volume of projects with minimal supervision. The candidate will have experience administering benefits for large, fast paced organizations and effectively working with teams globally.
The Senior Benefits Specialist will report to the Head of Global Benefits and in partnership with the Benefits Project Manager will aim to design and deliver sustainable and scalable global programs in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
Your MissionThe Senior Benefits Specialist will manage all new hire, life event, and open enrollment benefit events, including managing Workday benefits module, administering benefits not housed in Workday, and being primary contact for employee questions and will administer US leave of absence programs, including disability, FMLA, workers’ compensation and state programs, and counsel employees on the appropriate usage. This role will assist with ensuring regulatory compliance of all global benefit programs, international leave of absence programs, administering 401(k) retirement program and global pension programs, ACA Administration in the US and other Workday maintenance as required.

- Employee experience and process excellence:
- Support full cycle international benefits employee experience from new hire, life status / change events, enrollment change requests, and offboarding.
- Manage escalations to resolution.
- Assist Benefits leadership in data collection, preparation and development of policies and procedures as required.
- Plan management and general administration:
- Assist with benefit plan renewals and business-as-usual program administration, as well as cyclical audits and data requests.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams like Payroll, Operations, Technology teams to fine-tune employee benefits processes, administration, and support, and work on opportunities to scale operations.
- Prepare and maintain new hire onboarding information materials and resources.
- Financial administration:
- Process cyclical benefits payments / billing (in coordination with Accounting and Finance) for benefit programs in Americas and EMEA
- Leave of Absence Administration:
- Support the overall delivery and process improvement for leave of absence administration (e.g., answering employee inquiries, requests, administering pay with Payroll, and processing relevant compliance documentation.
- Knowledge and content management:
- Organize benefit materials to ensure accuracy and relevance of employee-facing benefit resources; advance overall global benefits-related documentation accuracy and data retention compliance.
- Maintain strong collaborative partnerships with key partners across business functions, including People Operations, People Business Partners, HR Systems (Workday technology), Payroll, Finance, Accounting, and Legal.
- Maintain strong partnerships with key vendors to ensure alignment with a strategic roadmap.
Your experience includes:
- 4+ years of benefits administration, Human Resources operations or leave administration roles, prior experience with global benefits is a plus.
- Knowledge of the employee benefits and leave management function and other areas of human resources.
- Strong communication skills and ability to modify delivery for intended audience and based on communication platform or method.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Manage and prioritize competing projects and priorities.
- Collaborate with an array of stakeholders from employees to business partners.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail; sound judgment and business acumen; Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite; Workday proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working in the high-tech or financial services/asset management industry preferred.
- Sense of urgency, attention to detail, accuracy, respect for data integrity and discretion for confidential information.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
