The Senior Creative Engineer leads and executes high-quality production design deliverables across digital platforms, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. This role requires a strong ability to manage and deliver complex, multi-channel digital production projects independently, while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to the evolution of design systems, processes, and best practices.

The Senior Creative Engineer is a trusted partner for cross-functional teams and clients, providing guidance, quality assurance, and forward-thinking design solutions that align with brand guidelines and business goals.

You will

  • Oversee the creation of production design deliverables in areas such as site/app maintenance, image processing, digital advertising, motion graphics, email production, and presentation design.
  • Drive ownership of complex projects, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring alignment with creative, brand, and technical standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level Creative Engineers, providing feedback, coaching, and best practices to strengthen team performance.
  • Collaborate strategically with creative engineering leads, project managers, and clients to provide design solutions that improve workflows and elevate deliverables.
  • Ensure exceptional quality assurance across all assets, proactively identifying and solving potential design or technical issues.
  • Contribute to the evolution of design systems, templates, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and scalability across projects.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies, recommending innovative approaches to enhance production efficiency and creative impact.

 

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience in advertising/digital agencies or startups).
  • 5+ years of experience in digital production design for advertising agencies, design studios, or startups, ideally with international clients and global brands.
  • Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with strong photo retouching and image optimization skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of motion design tools such as After Effects, Adobe Animate (Celtra/Orca Plus is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch) and the ability to translate design systems into scalable production assets.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, digital production, and online advertising best practices.
  • Proficiency in presentation and storytelling tools (Keynote, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Experience with remote collaboration and workflow management tools (Slack, Jira, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Zoom, Drive).
  • A leadership mindset with the ability to mentor peers, influence cross-functional teams, and introduce improvements to workflows.
  • Any certifications or courses in UX/UI, design thinking, visual design, marketing campaigns, or design systems are a strong asset.
