About the role

We are looking for a Senior Demand Planner for our eCommerce business to dig into the ever-evolving data to optimize inventory management, product forecasting, and strategic analysis. Reporting to our Inventory Manager, eCommerce, you'll deliver critical insights and analysis to serve as the basis for strategic decisions and purchase order recommendations across the eCommerce team.

Inventory Management:

  • You will develop and implement inventory strategies to improve stock levels and meet customer demand.
  • You will monitor inventory levels in relation to current sales trends.
  • You will analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality and content viewership to forecast future demand.
  • You will identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop strategies to minimize excess stock.

Demand Forecasting:

  • You will work with our buying team and vendor partners to gather insights into upcoming promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns to create forecast scenarios and lead alignment on volumes.
  • You will build and use forecasting models and tools to predict future demand and adjust inventory plans accordingly.
  • You will review forecast accuracy and make adjustments to improve forecast performance.
  • You will collaborate with partners to create detailed item-level forecast development and consolidation for the US and International eCommerce markets

About You

  • 5+ years experience in inventory management and planning within an eCommerce setting.
  • You are analytical and have strong skills in strategic planning.
  • You love working with data and pay close attention to details. You regularly review and question data to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • You are proficient in advanced Excel techniques, including complex formulas.
  • You have worked with Netsuite and are familiar with its reporting and data formats.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can explain technical information to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • You are curious and eager to dive into issues and create creative solutions.
