A role primarily focused on highly crafted visual, interface and brand design with an understanding in the creation and use of design systems across the eco-system of brand-led experience design. By this, we mean how brands show up across multiple touch points. Your role will span all aspects of digital creative ranging from branding and style guide development to campaign work and art direction for content creation. 

We are looking for a quick, well informed creative thinker ideally with experience in the Luxury brand space or a good understanding of what it takes to show up in this space — to contribute at pitch or concept stages of the projects. You will be a collaborator, someone who is not shy at jumping in to help other teams on their projects, and open to direction to elevate their own work to the next level.

  • Keen proactive interest in industry trends and broader creative pursuits eg. art, music, photography, content creation

 

Creative

  • Hands on designing
  • Lead visual design projects from concept to completion
  • Contribute to pitches, campaign and branding work as required
  • Create immersive, innovative brand websites, apps and broader digital experiences
  • Highly skilled in Figma and Adobe CS
  • A proficient video editor/animator ranging from campaign content to developing motion principles and micro interactions
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems and liaising with development teams
  • Strong typography design
  • Able to create refined, precise design that also pushes boundaries
  • Able to present work articulately to both clients and peers alike
  • Work smart and be able to challenge and improve process
  • Independent decision making
  • Fast paced and reactive as required
  • A solid understanding of print design and process
  • Understand client mindset and needs and translate into innovative solutions
  • Understand and translate data into innovative design solutions
  • An understanding of relevant AI tools and other related technology

 

Delivery

  • Keep process moving without a clear path or within ambiguous instructions
  • Know when and who to escalate to, how to communicate the issue
  • Balance multiple projects needs and your input as well as the input of other designers
  • Proactively integrate into the production process at a project level (versus a task level)
  • Assigning design elements within a project or design system to other designers
  • Providing day-to-day feedback on design to other designers within their projects
  • Talking to others about becoming proficient and well-rounded designers

 

Leadership

  • Able to receive and share feedback on copy, art and concept and speak to project needs
  • Delegate small components of a project and guide the other designers
  • Answer design-related questions from other designers
  • Foster relationships with other disciplines and the creative team
  • Mentor junior-mid weight designers an required
