Senior Developer, DevOps
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in advancing our technical direction and strategy around operations and process.. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be leveraged to drive the development and deployment of high-quality, infrastructure projects. You will work alongside scientists and engineers in a collaborative environment, contributing features and data pipelines to power our core recommender systems and our DaVinci Personalization product. Responsibilities:
- Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment strategies
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on DevOps operations and best practices
- Support our Engineers in deploying high throughput pipelines
- Find opportunities and implement improvements in terms of cost and performance
- Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment strategies
- Set up and manage instrumentation for application performance monitoring
- Run research spikes to maintain our team’s knowledge of incoming cloud/data services
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Docker and containerization of services, Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud services like GCP
- Experience with application logging / tracing / performance monitoring
- Experience with automation/configuration management
- Experience with columnar databases such as Clickhouse
- Experience with Linux infrastructures
- Experience with a testing framework
- Experience using Git
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
