Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will play a critical role in optimizing our development and operational processes to deliver high-quality software, ensuring it meet our business needs and adheres to best practices in automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This includes:

  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process. Integrate version control systems (e.g., Git) with CI/CD tools to trigger automated workflows.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Work with containerization tools such as Docker to package applications and dependencies. Use orchestration tools like Kubernetes to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure in a repeatable, automated manner.
  • Automation: Write scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Golang) for automating tests, routine tasks, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring, Logging and Alerting: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, resource utilization, and application behavior.
  • Release management & collaboration: Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and enhance deployment procedures.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges, making informed decisions and finding innovative solutions.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance the company's software solutions.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior members of the DevOps team.

What you bring on the table

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least 6+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Golang)
  • Experience with with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of public and private cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack)
  • Understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
