Senior Digital Planner
What is this role about?
This is an opportunity for a senior planner to help one of our biggest global clients transform their digital marketing to be more culture and audience first.
You’ll be part of a dynamic and growing in-house Studio team, working on a wide variety of brands in the UK and EMEA. You’ll have a key role to play in finding audience insights, developing smart channel thinking, and driving more engaging, effective and culturally connected work.
You’ll be working collaboratively with clients, and you’ll be an active contributor to the global strategy team.
This role is right for you…
If you want to take your strong social and content strategy skills and develop them across a wider canvas of brands and markets – being an active leader in cross agency teams and an advocate and champion of audience and cultural intelligence. Experience in FMCG or healthcare is helpful, but not essential.
You’ll be highly audience focused, adept at putting data insight at the heart of your strategic recommendations, and on the pulse of social culture.
You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, and at pace with clients and cross agency teams.
About the team you’ll be joining
You’ll be joining our client’s growing global strategy team, reporting to the Global Executive Strategy Director. Day by day you’ll be working closely with creatives, PMs and client leads in the Studio to create high performing digital campaigns and social content. retailer, campaign creation for a tech brand). Currently this role is based partly at home, and partly in our client offices in Slough (1-2 days a week).
What you’ll be doing
- Developing integrated communication plans as part of a cross agency team
- Developing and activating social first strategies and content, and helping our client to grow the role of social in their marketing
- Building out and optimising precision marketing campaigns
- Helping our clients stay culturally connected to what matters to their audiences.
- Helping to prove the value of the work we do for our clients
- Identifying opportunities for groundbreaking creative work
- Sharing best practice and learning with the global strategy team
The skills and personal attributes that will help you be successful
You’ll have a great blend of analytical and creative thinking skills: able to plan campaigns and customer journeys in a methodical and data driven way, but also able to come up with insight that inspires creatives. You’ll have hands on experience of delivering great social strategy and activation, and also experience in data driven creativity. You’ll be endlessly curious, and plugged into social culture.
You’ll be solution focused, getting to answers quickly and collaboratively and juggling your time effectively. You’ll be a great communicator – both verbally and in written presentations. You’ll be strongly client centric, building trusted relationships.
