YOUR MISSION

• Lead the core financial functions of the company — Accounting, Finance Operations, Tax and Systems — across 22 markets.
• Define and execute the strategic pillars that will shape the Finance organization over the coming years.
• Solve the most complex multi-country financial and operational challenges alongside your teams.
• Build and develop one of the strongest, highest-performing Finance teams in Europe.

THE JOURNEY

• Lead the following functions: Accounting, Tax, Systems and Finance Operations across HQ and all international markets.
• Manage and develop a global team of 70+ people in HQ and 150+ finance professionals internationally.
• Define, communicate and track the long-term strategy for your departments, ensuring alignment and execution at scale.
• Ensure excellence in market-level and consolidated financial reporting (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, compliance).
• Act as the main Finance business partner for senior leaders across Operations, Marketing, International, Legal and other key areas.
• Drive your domain experts to their maximum potential, challenging the status quo and providing strategic guidance to turn business goals into solid financial results.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• 15+ years of professional experience leading Accounting, Controllership, Finance Operations or similar scopes in international, multi-entity environments — Big 4 experience (4+ years) is a plus.
• Strong command of accounting principles, regulatory frameworks and reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience within a publicly listed or highly regulated group, familiar with external reporting, audits and compliance obligations.
• A hands-on, detail-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence engaging senior cross-functional leaders.
• Strong business acumen paired with strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into financial impact.
• Proven success thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments, executing complex initiatives across countries.
• Demonstrated people leadership, with a track record of developing and scaling high-performing teams internationally.
