(Senior) Event Marketing Manager (f/m/d) (German-speaking)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced (Senior) Event Marketing Manager to join our team. The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and organize internal & external events that drive demand and revenue growth. You will work closely with the entire marketing and sales team to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities.
🚀 Your responsibility:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with our business objectives and target audience
- Identify and evaluate relevant industry events, conferences, trade shows, and webinars for potential participation or sponsorship opportunities
- Plan and organize webinars with relevant speakers on a regular basis to increase brand awareness and drive pipeline
- Manage the end-to-end process of event participation, including logistics, budgeting, staffing, and on-site execution
- Design and oversee the production of event collateral, such as booth displays, promotional materials, and giveaways
- Negotiate with retailers and other third-party partners on promotional display and merchandise placement
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective lead generation tactics at events
- Represent the company at events, delivering engaging presentations, product demos, and networking with potential customers and partners
- Analyze event performance metrics, including lead generation, attendee engagement, and return on investment (ROI)
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event marketing
👀 You'll be successful with these skills:
- Native German speaker and fluent in English
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the HR Tech industry
- Working experience in a fast-paced environment where there are no clearly defined procedures and structures
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing high-impact events
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Skilled collaborator capable of partnering with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to interpret data and optimize event strategies
- An entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated and resourceful, driven by impact
- Comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders and can represent in negotiations
- Willingness to travel as required for event participation
Preferred:
- Knowledge of lead generation and nurturing strategies
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms and hybrid event formats
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box for unique event experiences
- Successful experience managing partnerships and sponsorships
