About the jobTwilio is looking for an SFA to join the revenue FP&A team. The team is building additional muscle to analyze customer and product usage for our high-growth business. You will play a critical role in creating, maintaining and reporting on key business metrics as well as devising bespoke analytics that will inform investment strategies as well as revenue and profit maximizing initiatives. The role will require partnering with various stakeholders to understand the data in a fast growing, complex, usage based business model and share insights using a variety of skill sets as described below. The right candidate has a mix of technical, business, and analytical skills to identify and analyze ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:
- Own the company revenue pacing which involves a deep understanding of core drivers of revenue & ability to translate key drivers to the top line
- Perform and own several ad-hoc financial analyses as they relate to critical business decision making at the finance leadership level
- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present meaningful business recommendations that will 1) provide insight to senior finance leadership and 2) help achieve the goals of the broader finance team & company leadership
- Manage multiple projects and priorities from different stakeholders across the organization
- Build scalable solutions and self-serve platforms that will provide data and KPIs to inform business decision making
- Develop high-trust relationships and processes with partner teams across finance to identify and address ad-hoc data intensive requests
- Build new processes to automate and scale data complex reporting needs

Required:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Software, SaaS, Banking, Consulting, and/or Corporate Finance preferably at a fast growing technology enterprise.
- Experience building complex interdependent financial models from scratch and extracting actionable insights from such exercises.
- Experience preparing and presenting periodic financial plans & analyses with senior leadership.
- Perform ad hoc analysis critical to decision making.
- Track record of prioritising and managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical skill set; experience in creating and manipulating data sets using Tableau, SQL and Python (or other programming/scripting language like R) required.
- Intense curiosity about understanding key drivers of a complex business.
Location
This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado: $92.800 - $116.000.
- Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $98.320 - $122.900.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $109.200 - $136.500.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
